GEC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our fast-growing team. The Assistant Superintendent works under the supervision of the Superintendent who leads the efforts of the employees, subcontractors and suppliers.

The Project Engineer assists the Superintendent with safety/risk management, quality control, and coordination efforts with Design Professionals and clients. The Project Engineer also works closely with the Project Manager to address RFIs, submittals, contracts and budgets.

The candidate must have 7+ years of construction Foreman/Supervisory experience preparing, placing and finishing concrete foundations and flatwork. Experience with Symons concrete forms preferred. Must have a demonstrated proficiency in managing construction projects and the ability to understand project documents, plans, specifications, contracts, etc. Must have a working knowledge of the construction process, quality control, cost control and job site safety. Strong management and communication skills required.
